DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) – Testimony in the Dunwoody day care murder trial wrapped up Friday evening and will resume on Monday with closing arguments expected sometime next week.
A psychiatrist for the prosecution returned to the stand on Friday and testified Hemy Neuman is faking that he is insane.
Neuman has admitted killing Rusty Sneiderman outside a Dunwoody day care center but has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Neuman and Sneiderman’s wife, Andrea, worked together at General Electric and both the prosecution and defense have established the two were having an affair.
“It’s my opinion there’s no indication that he did not know the difference between right and wrong at the time that he killed him,” testified Dr. Pam Crawford.
The prosecution showed the jury a number of clips of a video interview Crawford did with Neuman last November.
In the video, Neuman told Crawford he approached the killing like he would a project at work and considered the best plan of action.
